The Equinox Live Practice: Light Mirror HealingYoga Nidra

At the September equinox, day and night met in equal measure. We gathered to find that balance within.

This yoga nidra draws on the DaBen Light Body teachings. We breathe into the heart. We rest between judgment and acceptance. We sense the light within and how it meets others through the mirrors of perception.

In those mirrors, confusion and illusion can soften. What remains is our brilliance, remembered together.

From Insight Timer Community

"I really enjoy the range of meditations and nidra sequences that she is constantly updating. Her yoga nidra sequences are a bit different to others, with a deep focus inward."

~ Listener, Australia

"Relaxing isn't my forte, so it's really good that I was able to switch off and totally immerse myself."

~ Jo, Sydney

“I intend to steal this technique for use in my daily self-care inventories. Emotionally, it felt tricky, but Nid’s way of making it playful made for fun experimentation. Thank you.”

~ Idris, Unknown

Extended recordings and past Insight Timer lives

In the yogic tradition, yoga nidra is more than a practice. It is understood as a state of consciousness. When we bring the practice into daily life, we can begin to live from that state.

I built this course from the practices that carried me through recovery from a brain injury. I didn't have the energy for long trainings. I needed something simple that I could return to each day. That simplicity is still at its heart.

It's rooted in yoga nidra, informed by neuroscience and self-paced.

You'll discover in these modules:

Intentionality and Creation.

Retune your awareness to create from the deeper peace and joy within you.

Soothing the Senses.

Soften inwards into how body awareness invites the mind to settle.

Breath Awareness as a Bridge.

Use your breath as a way of meeting life with more steadiness.

Opposites and Contrast.

Finding ease between the pulls of wanting and not wanting.

The Nidra State.

Being-ness arises through symbol, story and mantra as gentle ways to meet and be with what is.

"As a practice, this course makes it something very doable.

Nid makes it so simple, and that makes perfect sense."

~ Ann
